Adelaide Central Market

I'm sure the long term Adelaide locals are well aware of the Central Markets and think it is "old news" but for me it is "new news", discovered by my cousin while she was here. I have now been to it twice and I love the atmosphere there, stall holders calling out specials and prices and super fresh produce and small goods.
These are a couple of quick snaps I took there, would love to go back by myself and take the time to capture the essence of the market.

and this is a photo of part of our lunch today: cheese, olives, mild and chilli sticks (biscuits not from market) and we also had king prawns and sour dough bread.

If you come to Adelaide, or if you haven't been there, you should go! It is on Grote St, Adelaide and I believe it is open every day.

They are wonderful aren't they?! I only truly discovered them about 12 months ago - I knew about them before but didn't experience them properly or appreciate them for what they are. A great place!
